Remove an unwanted email address from Outlook Express

How can I remove an unwanted email address from Outlook Express?
 If you have an unwanted email account set-up in Outlook Express, the following instructions can be used to remove the email account.

For example, you may want to delete an account that has become inactive and is requesting a username and password when you check email, or an address that is receiving large quantities of spam or unwanted email.

  1. Open Outlook Express.
  2. Click on the Tools menu and select Accounts.
  3. Click on the Mail tab.
  4. Highlight the email account you want to delete then click on Remove.
  5. A popup window will ask if you are sure you want to delete the account. If you are, click on Yes.
